Hope Plantation Inventory, 1795.
Living room: 2 sofas, 9 wooden chairs, 1 mahogany card table, 1 brown painted table of wood, 1 old desk, 1 telescope.
Storehouse: 1 board game, 1 small medicine chest, 1 red serving table with twelve bottles, 2 flintlocks with powder horns, a lot of goods and chattles of iron and wood.
Animals: 1 brown mare, 9 bouriques [she asses], 1 donkey, 2 bulls, 1 red cow acquired from Lamesure, 1 red heifer, 1 saddle with reins.
Plantation with buildings, works and appliances is in a very bad, destroyed and poor condition. Also a cask and 7½ barrels of sugar.
