Stumbled on this side street today. I’m always on the lookout for these remnant buildings and neighborhoods of the manufacturing era in the smaller cities in New England. This street runs parallel to a canal, and is close to a site which is now an abandoned mill. The neighborhood is still alive however, with small local restaurants and grocery stores. These are interesting neighborhoods, urban remnants of the manufacturing era, still shaping these cities.
