Fresh Fish is a photography blog run by Shaun O’Boyle.
My main interest is fine art photography, with a special interest in ruins and historical subjects, particularly those related to architecture, industrial and institutional subjects. I like to photograph found objects and curiosities, but I will be posting about anything vaguely related to this, or even completely off topic, whatever the flavor of the day is.
I’m located in Berkshire County, western Massachusetts. I studied architecture and industrial design at Parsons School of Design in New York in the mid-late 1980′s, have worked extensively in the architectural and mechanical design fields, and bringing those interests to my photography.
My first book Modern Ruins: Portraits of Place in the Mid-Atlantic Region is available and is viewable on Amazon here. Follow this link for all my photobooks.
Most of my photo projects turn into self-published books, you can find out more about those here. The books are good, check them out.
If you want to see more of my photography visit the Modern Ruins – Portrais of Place webpage here.
For purchasing prints or self-published books see this page here.
