Rustenberg Plantation Ruin, St. John

Just returned from St. john where I spent the week hiking and photographing plantation ruins. I will be posting images as I work on them, this is the first image from the Rustenberg ruin.

Holden Street, North Adams, MA

I couldn’t resist. I’m not usually one to run around trying to find other photographer’s locations, but I was eating lunch at a greek pizzeria when I realized that I was on Holden Street, near where Stephen Shore took his photograph of the same street. I thought it would be interesting to see how it has changed since July 13, 1974. I was there mid-day, and judging by the light, Stephen was there late afternoon.
